Warsaw, Poland

We're currently in Romania (the 12th country on this trip), and yet, these photos are from Poland (the 2nd stop)... yes, I'm clearly behind. But thanks for your patience, and the photos will keep trickling through. Enjoy.

Bridge deck where couples place a padlock to profess their undying love.

There were thousands of locks adorning the deck.

Luminaries outside of the government offices, in memory of the recently deceased Polish president and first lady.

This has nothing to do with Poland, I just like seeing random G's painted on walls.

Little Insurgent monument, commemorating the children who fought alongside their parents during the Warsaw Uprising.

I liked the contrast of this random bright pink chair set in amongst a drab grey construction zone along the main avenue in Warsaw.
