Bridges of San Francisco

Shadow of the Golden Gate Bridge

  1. Bridgey! I like the first one, it'd be a wicked large gallery print on canvas, I bet.

On my motorcycle-across-north-america trip, I took pictures (as quick-draw as I could while still riding) of almost every bridge I crossed. You could say that I have a soft spot (or hard spot?) for bridges.

  2. Thanks Marc! I ought to look more into the canvas gallery wraps.

And I've definitely got a thing for bridges too. I actually really want to get this book.

  3. Nicely done. I like #3 the best, but the others are quite creative.

And yes, definitely look into some canvas printing. I've sold a few Canvas prints lately and they can be stunning. I've got a 50" x 30" gallery wrapped canvas on my living room wall, it's pretty nice.

There are plenty of 'cheap' canvas printing options available, but I really like what I get from Technicare. They start with metallic paper and transfer the emulation to the canvas. The result is an image that practically glitters with the texture of the canvas as you walk by and the reflection angle changes. It looks especially good on rippled water.
