Blank...

Every once in awhile, I feel like I get stuck. There is work to be done, movies to be watched, books to be read, photos to be edited, games to be played, new albums to check out, a wedding shoot to prepare for, and just about a million other things that I could entertain myself with. But I just have this feeling of indifference and apathy... it's been building for about a week and like this vicious cold, I can't seem to shake it.

You know it's gotten bad when the photolab informed me that there were no exposures on my 2nd roll of film taken during my photowalk, and I just shrug and walk away. If I were to remove myself from my body for a second, and emulate what my normal reaction would be: 1) SHUT UP MORON AT THE PHOTO COUNTER - YOU DON'T KNOW SQUAT AND YOU SCREWED UP MY FILM!!! or 2) WTF?!! GOD DAMN YOU YASHICA! I SHOULD TOSS YOU OUT LIKE LAST WEEK'S TRASH! or at least 3) obsessively try to dismantle the uptake mechanism in the camera to see what went wrong.

But nope, there's just complete apathy. Troubling...

  1. Good old apathy, it's how one recuperates after a flurry of activity. Roll with it. And when you're better you'll fell much more like bludgeoning photocounter staff with a vintage rangefinder...

I think you need a new camera...
