Scrambles - Opal Ridge (South)

On a warm 20 degree Sunday with beautiful blue skies and a light breeze, we scrambled up the south peak of Opal Ridge in Kananaskis. The trail was unrelentingly steep until we gained the ridge, before levelling out to a gentle ridge walk up to the summit. But most importantly, there was a nice pub at the top serving cold beers to weary scramblers. Okay, not really. But damn, that would have been a way better ending to our day, as opposed to finding a tick crawling on Anita after we got home. #GROSS
